I was sitting beside one of my best friends, talking about Jesus. We were praying and laughing and all of a sudden we got quiet. "Where are the men of God when you need them?" She whispered quietly. And my heart became so heavy. There is this huge war that Satan is throwing at the Children of God, and it is not easy. We are soldiers of Jesus, strong in faith and shinning with the Spirit, but this war is still hard. Satan is still very, very real. And the thing is that women are not meant to lead here. We are not meant to fight this battle alone. When my friend asked me that question, I was so torn up because the only response I could give her was, "I don't know."
Men of God, I say this to you: you are called to something much, much greater than silence. You are called to stand and lead with boldness. To lead us. To love and protect. So where are you? You aren't meant to become a Christian and then keep going with the same life as before. There is something wrong when Christian woman gather together and wonder where the men of God are. Guys, I urge you to stand up. Listen to Jesus, because He is calling out to you. He's calling your name and He's telling you to come. Come out of your homes. Let go of your fear. Come and lead. Every challenge you will ever face, you will face with Jesus, and because of that you will be okay.
In Revelation, it tells us the end result of this war- Jesus will win. He will conquer Satan once and for all. But until that day, Satan will try to torment people and lead them astray. Let us not stand by and watch that happen. Jesus will be with us and will go before us and all we have to do is follow. So then, let us follow. And men, go first. You've got nothing to lose in this life and everything to gain in the next by following Jesus. So what are you waiting for? The next time a woman asks me where the men of God are I want to be able to stand up and point around and tell her that they are here. Ready to lead. And may we, as woman of God, draw strength from The Lord to stand up and follow Him, too.
After all, we already know the end result. Every battle we fight will be for God's glory. So why hesitate?
